Get to know us
Bell Phillips was established in 2004 after co-founders, Tim Bell and Hari Phillips, won an international design competition to carry out a significant regeneration project in East London. Since this first £8 million project, the practice has grown to a team of 30 led by our Directors: Tim Bell, Melissa Dowler, Jay Morton and Tom Morgan.
We carefully select our team for their passion, intelligence and talent. The combination of our skills and the collaborative way in which we work are what make our studio a special, stimulating and enjoyable place to work (the office pups and river views help too!). We always welcome applications from talented architects looking to help us create / uplifting places and / build for the future.
We do not currently have any vacancies but we are always happy receive speculative applications from talented professionals.
Feel free to send us your CV and portfolio in a single attachment to recruitment@bellphillips.com
Equality, diversity and inclusion
We recognise that ethnic minorities are currently underrepresented at Bell Phillips Architects and are therefore taking positive action to address the diversity of our office. We encourage job applications from underrepresented groups to build a business that better reflects our society.
To avoid bias, we partake in blind recruitment to ensure we are selecting candidates based on merit and against objective criteria that can lead to subconscious discrimination.
We are active members of advocate groups such as the Mayor’s Access and Aspiration Employability Programme and helped form the London Practice Forum Ethical Charter.
