The Tree House shortlisted for Dezeen Award

The Tree House has been shortlisted for the Dezeen Awards. The high quality shortlist comprises the world’s 85 best buildings with The Tree House being one of just five projects shortlisted in the Civic Building category and one of only fifteen projects located in the UK.

The Tree House comprises a café, viewing terrace, multi-function community space and public WC’s designed to enhance use of Elephant Park, a major regeneration project in South London. The pavilion wraps itself around an existing London plane tree and is constructed using cross laminated timber, Accoya cladding and bamboo decking to minimise embodied carbon. The winning projects will be announced on the 28th November.
